Generation Settings
Choose the AI provider for content generation
Choose the specific model for generation
If primary model fails 2x consecutively, system switches to this backup model
Upload a file or paste content below (optional)
Include all topics, sections, and key points for your course
What to enter: Describe how the model should anchor law, agencies, and examples.
  • State-specific — e.g. Washington State real estate, Texas real estate
  • Federal — e.g. federal US real estate law, federal fair housing and lending
  • Broad — e.g. broad US real estate principles, general real estate (not state-specific)
Standard: Generate slides in batches from the full outline
Section-Based: Generate slides for each section independently using [START PART_XX] markers

Default: "You are a [course subject] instructor. Generate content for PowerPoint slides based on the provided course outline. You have excellent memory and can track what content you've generated in previous batches to avoid repetition and ensure comprehensive coverage."
The [course subject] is automatically filled based on your "Course Subject/Location" field above.
Customize slide requirements (word limits, structure, content guidelines, image prompts, output format).
Default includes: Word limit from setting above (including header/subheader), header/subheader/body structure, progression patterns, inclusive language requirements, image prompt guidelines, and quality checks.
Leave blank to use comprehensive default specifications.
Word limit: Uses "Words Per Slide" setting (default 65 words total including header & subheader)
Structure: Header (3-8 words), Subheader (5-12 words), Body, Image Prompt
No Part # in content: Do NOT include "Welcome to Part X", "Part X of Y", or similar part-number references in slide body, header, or subheader. Learners see slides sequentially—never reference part numbers in the content.

Full default specifications (section-based mode) also include: narrative flow rules, header continuity, slide connection techniques, content guidelines, and detailed image prompt requirements. See generation_utils.py for the complete default.
Expert Only: Completely replace the entire prompt template. Must include placeholders: {slides_to_generate}, {batch_number}, {total_batches}, {next_slide_number}, {batch_context}, {full_outline}
Note: If you provide this, the "Slide Specifications" field above will be ignored. Only use this if you need complete control.

Enter a number (65) or range (65-100). Total words including header & subheader.
Percentage of slides that must stay under the short slide word cap (e.g. 25 = one quarter of slides). Use 0 to disable.
Max words for those short slides (header + subheader + body). All other slides use the default word limit above.
Use a separate LLM to verify generated content for relevance and accuracy
Create multiple choice questions based on the generated slide content
Optional extra instructions for state, federal, or broad scope (in addition to the course scope field above).
